Caldwell Signs & Design is a sign making company which caters to other small businesses and the general public within Algonquin, Illinois and the surrounding area. It is owned and operated by Robert Caldwell and Mary Caldwell.
Our goal is to provide quality custom signs and quick service at the best price. Most signs can be ready the same or next day. We will exceed our customers' expectations through our quality of work, the advertising effectiveness of our signs, and our friendly customer service. We can provide prices that are better than our competitors' prices because we are an independently owned business with low overhead.
The skills and experience we bring to the business:
Robert Caldwell began as a sign maker in 1987. He brings personal experience from working directly in the sign making field since that time. This includes design, production, installation, customer services/sales, inventory and employee training. Robert also has 4 years of experience in the newspaper industry as an ad designer. He has been involved in art and design his entire life and has a Degree in Commercial Art. Mary Caldwell brings personal experience from working in the human resources field for 3 + years and in retail management for over 4 years. Mary has a Masters Degree in Organizational Management. She has the personal drive and the skills necessary to run the daily operations of the business as well as sales and marketing experience. Both Rob and Mary continuously cross train in order to provide the best service to their customers.

Our advantages are as follows: We are an independently owned business with low overhead. Since we are not a franchise, we can offer greater focus on the quality (rather than just the quantity) of the signs we produce. We come to the customer for full service: design, consultation, quotes and delivery. The customer benefits by never having to leave their location. We offer a wide variety of the most common types of signs that businesses need, but we are also custom sign makers and can meet your company's individual needs as well. The products/services offered:
We offer signs for businesses and the general public: retail, real estate, construction, architects, schools, churches, trade shows and public outings. We create storefront window lettering, sign faces for lit signs, vehicle lettering and graphics, vehicle magnetics, banners, parking signs and any other non-electric or non-neon sign. With our signs we offer the services of consultation and we work along side our customers in the choice of appropriate design, colors, sign materials, size and location of the sign.
